James Marshall “Orange Yodeler” Daughtrey, 65, of Chattanooga passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018. His love was music and was a well known singer, songwriter and recording artist. He attended Carpenters and Cowboys Church. He was a graduate of Hixson High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and worked for Unum Provident. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Belle Daughtrey; brother, Nick Daughtrey and sister, Carolyn Tuck.

Survivors are his brother, Tom Daughtrey (Patty); sister, Sara Lou Shetter and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with a gathering from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. before the service. Rev. Jerry Davis will be officiating the service. Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, Tenn. 37379.
